For those of us that aren't able to work from home, having pets is sometimes hard. You leave every day, stay out most of the day, and feel guilty that your poor baby is sitting at home all alone. In Kody's case, I know she's probably just laying around sleeping... But when she meets me at the door every evening, I know she must have been at least a little lonely.
In the interest of alleviating this issue, I have decided to get another cat! Over the past couple of weeks, I contacted a couple rescue organizations and I have found an adorable little 3 month old kitten that will be coming home next weekend. Having two cats moves me closer in the direction of becoming the crazy cat lady, but knowing that the cats will keep each other company while I am gone makes me feel semi-okay about that.
But anyway... The kitten. The foster family currently looking after him gave him the name Drew, but if I keep that name, it makes me look like I named the kitten after my brother. And nothing against ya, bro, but I think it's best if I change it. So... I'm currently taking suggestions!

(and I'm TOTALLY looking forward to hanging out with the new arrival, named by people cleverer than I...)
Scotty told me to let you know that you should check the kitty's personality before you name him. That way the name will fit. Or another cute name could be Tiki Scott said or anything that ends with "iki" (random!).
You could name him Sunder. That name means handsome and it is my nephew Will's middle name. Or Thunder Sunder.
